An enterprising team of System Engineering students decided it might be worth investigating to see if they could uncover how to decrease costs and improve efficiencies to maintain jet engine parts.

In April, Mason professor Mohamed Gebril took a team of students to Commonwealth Cyber Initiative's BattleDrones Competition.

George Mason Department of Computer Science Assistant Professor Foteini Baldimtsi has been granted a National Science Foundation CAREER Award for her project, Privacy Preserving Transactions with Accountability Extensions. 

Senior mechanical engineering students displayed their capstone projects during capstone day. The projects are a year long endeavor and prepare graduates for real world experience on the job.

The George Mason College of Engineering and Computing statistics department and its Statistics Collaboration Core is working with Inova Health Care Services as part of a partnership called “iTHRIV.”
