Fast-Track Admissions provides qualifying students the opportunity to accelerated through the application and review process with reduced application materials. The College of Engineering and Computing offers the following Fast-Track Admissions options: Fast-Track Alumni for engineering and computing graduates and Corporate Fast-Track for employees of our corporate partners. Alumni Fast Track
Fast-Track Alumni Eligibility

College alumni who graduated with a 3.00 or better overall GPA in one of our bachelor's programs.

Current CEC undergraduates within one semester of graduation with a 3.00 or better GPA. A final 3.00 GPA in the bachelor's degree must be confirmed prior to registration.
Fast-Track Alumni Application Requirements

Prior to submitting an application, confirm your eligibility by sending an email to cecgrad@gmu.edu with the subject line: Fast Track and include your name and Mason ID/G Number in the body of the email. If you do not recall your Mason ID, please use your name and include your Mason graduation degree and program name (ex: Bachelor of Science in Applied Computer Science).

Fast track eligibility is verified via email within three business days along with instructions on waiving materials.

Applicants who qualify for Fast Track will receive the recommendation letter waiver if applying to a graduate program that requires them.
Fast-Track Alumni Restrictions

Fast track applicants are subject to deadlines; no exceptions.

Applications are not granted automatic admission, nor are students granted special consideration beyond the reduction of required materials at the time of application.
Master's Degree Options
Alumi Fast-Track eligibility is available only for CEC master's degree programs.
