Dave Lattanzi, an associate professor in the Sid and Reva Dewberry Department of Civil, Environmental, and Infrastructure Engineering has examined structures as diverse as 20th-century bridges, ancient towers, the sunken hull of a Confederate submarine, a naval destroyer, and most recently, images of human bruises.
