Biography

Sadegh Torabi is an assistant professor at the Department of Information Science and Technology (IST), School of Computing, at George Mason University. He is also a Research Fellow at the Center for Secure Information Systems (CSIS). Torabi's research focuses on the intersection of applied AI and operational cyber security including the security of Internet of Things (IoT), Operational Technologies (OT), and Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS). His current research interests include: (1) Securing the EV charging ecosystem, (2) IoT/OT malware classification and family attribution, and (3) Adversarial AI/ML.
