Biography
Jennifer Skorzawski-Ross is the acting associate dean for graduate programs in the College of Engineering and Computing (CEC) at George Mason University. In this role, she leads the Office of Graduate Studies (CECGS) providing strategic oversight and operational leadership for graduate academic affairs across the College. CECGS is a critical liaison between departmental-level graduate initiatives and university-wide policies and procedures, ensuring alignment and consistency. In addition, the Office administers and oversees CEC’s distinctive and cross-cutting PhD program in Information Technology (INFT).
With extensive experience in academic administration, Jennifer has held leadership roles at two institutions of higher education. She joined George Mason in 2015 and previously served at Hofstra University, where her positions included assistant provost for Academic Affairs, chair of health professions, acting administrator for the School of Health Sciences, and acting administrator for the Frank G. Zarb School of Business Graduate Program Office.
Throughout her career, Jennifer has built a reputation as a results-oriented and student-centered higher education professional. She is particularly committed to developing pragmatic, scalable solutions that enhance student success, streamline academic operations, and support institutional effectiveness.
