Hemant Purohit

Hemant Purohit is passionate about designing interactive AI systems for social good, which can augment human capabilities for real-time analytics and management of big data at public services and nonprofits. His research utilizes social media mining, natural language processing, and machine learning techniques, and he applies this research in crisis informatics to assist communities toward resilience from natural crises, societal crises, and cyber crises. His experience also includes a fellowship of ITU Young Innovator from the United Nations specialized agency for information and communication technologies.
