About the Program
The MS in Applied Information Technology at George Mason University helps students and information technology (IT) professionals become leaders and problem-solvers in their fields. Through rigorous instruction and learning, graduate students learn to lead multidisciplinary teams in the development process of mega-systems from data to decisions in a variety of industries. Students who enroll in the master’s program will be well prepared for the rigorous curriculum in the PhD degree program.
Program Opportunities
For the online experience of the master’s program, you can expect to complete your degree within 2 years or less. Mason’s AIT program stands out from the rest, by offering courses that range from cyber security to knowledge mining. Students will graduate with a diverse knowledge of the IT discipline that can be applied in the public and private sectors. Mason’s master’s degree in AIT can be taken both online and in person.
